They say you leave a piece of yourself in every work of art. Never have truer words been spoken as I bring to life the characters in my mind one brush stroke at a time. The quiet kid with a story to tell, a runaway searching for a home, the closed hearted one desperate for affection, and the soldier afraid of peace. Each character, every illustration, artwork or doodle, carries a fragment of who I once was, who I am, and who I wish to be. With them I find peace, with them I find clarity, and maybe, I'll find myself.
